Ministry Leadership Team Nominations
It’s time to make nominations for the Ministry Leadership Team (MLT)!
What is the MLT?
The MLT reviews, analyzes, and promotes the ministry of Community Church by advising the pastors, making big decisions, and responding in times of crisis. They must be active members, give regularly and sacrificially to Community Church, display Christ-like character, and receive affirmation from the church that they should lead. With the exception of the pastors, each member serves a maximum three year term before rotating off the Ministry Leadership Team for at least one year.
How can I nominate someone?
In order to nominate someone, you must be a member of Community Church. Please speak with the member you’d like to nominate, then fill out the form below by 8 November. After filling out this form, the MLT candidates are considered by the current MLT. Recommended candidates are presented to the members at our membership meeting on 16 November.
How can we approve a new MLT member?
After a recommendation from the MLT, candidates are presented and voted on at a member meeting. MLT candidates are approved by a 3/4 majority.
